AZ-Built announced a NEW software application (SKoper) is now available for the AZ-Built SKanner.
Baton Rouge, LA - AZ-Built announced a NEW software application (SKoper) has been released. The app can now be installed on the AZ-Built SKanner and is available by logging into the AZ-Built website.
The newly released SKoper app creates scopes of work for projects using real world 3D captured data. Instead of trying to describe a scope of work on projects with written verbiage and CAD drawings, the new app offers a faster and better way to communicate details on projects. Using the NEW AZ-Built SKoper app with the AZ-Built hand held SKanner to capture 3D real world environments, users can view, modify, annotate and dimension 3D Scopes of Work. The SKoper app allows users to separate the scope of work by new capital scope and demolition expense scope or by discipline scopes: civil, mechanical, Instrumentation, or electrical. The new app combines project documents such as P&IDS, Cost Estimates, MOCs and other related documents into a single 3D PDF Scope of Work Report. The reports are perfect for Feasibility studies, Front End Designs and Layouts. The SKoper app is a great solution for communicating project scopes and locations necessary for acquiring construction pricing. Users upload PDF documents of Specifications, Bill of Materials, Drawings, Tie-in Locations, Line Lists, and Project Schedules which are all combined into a single 3D PDF Scope of Work IFC Report. The SKoper app was created for Small Capital, Maintenance Replacement and Repairs projects and but can now be scaled for larger complex projects by having the ability to create 3D PDF Reports by work areas. The Skoper app is an excellent solution for capturing communicating last minute changes in scope to stakeholders for approvals.
